Our customers are mostly Aircraft leasing companies and Airlines and they value our ability to provide them with quality cloud based secure Software as a Service products to enable them to empower their business and futureproof their assets.
How will winning “Best Start-Up” affect your business?
Winning the Best Innovative Start-Up of the year for us is a huge honour and gives us confidence to push on with our plans to bring Aviation based Technology jobs into Limerick City in 2018. It is also a huge endorsement on what we have achieved to date by bringing innovation into the Aircraft asset management industry. Our customers will be glad to know we are now an award-winning company and it will without doubt help us to expand further.
What/Who inspired you to start Cloud Cards?
We started CloudCARDS Ltd. as a result of seeing a gap in the market for project management systems handling Aircraft deliveries and the ability of new technology to fulfil this requirement to bring a mostly paper based industry into the cloud computing age.
What is the biggest lesson you have learnt in business?
The biggest lesson we have learned is to plan ahead, Innovate and use every offer of help and support available.
Any advice for new business owners just getting started?
Pick a solid team including outside advice on Legal, Financing and don’t be afraid to knock on doors for help, there is a fantastic amount of goodwill towards startups in Ireland and this is vital to getting sales and growth in your company.
What is your proudest moment as a business owner?
My proudest moment is telling the hardworking CloudCARDS team last Friday that we are now an award-winning company with a bright future.
