A €3,000 Return for Your Business

Companies that actively engage in Limerick Chamber see huge benefits

Limerick Chamber has launched a campaign to highlight the value of membership with the organisation.  It has put an estimated minimum value of €3,000 annually on the benefits of membership.

Maria Kelly, Limerick Chamber CEO, explained, “Membership of Limerick Chamber is a solid investment for any business.  The benefits that can be reaped by a company far outweigh the cost of their annual subscription and we would encourage companies to “cash in” on their membership for the benefit of their business.”

“Over 60% of members do business from attending events.  We have numerous examples and testimonials. Sean Mullally of Q3 Security Systems has confirmed that he is doing business with 27 chamber member companies worth €380,000 since joining in July 2012,” she continued.

“We continuously engage with our members to ensure that our lobbying work is timely and effective and the events we organise are topical and relevant.  Last year we organised over 80 events.  Members attending these events really gain a competitive advantage – whether it’s by making connections with other businesses in the area, winning new business, learning from their peers through networking or expanding their know-how from workshops.”

Limerick Chamber is also calling on companies to actively engage with the Chamber.  Maria Kelly shares the importance and pay off of active involvement:

“Limerick Chamber works hard on behalf of our members to affect positive change at national and local governmental level. It is much easier for an organisation comprised of 450 companies to affect change and leadership than it is for just one. The experience of working on common issues builds even stronger rapport with key players, making valuable deposits in professional relationships.”

“Being actively involved in Limerick Chamber can be valuable on a wide variety of fronts, both personally and professionally. In fact, your annual membership dues may be the safest investment to make in this economy,” Ms Kelly concluded.

Limerick Chamber has also launched a video demonstrating the impact of the work of the Limerick Chamber. It highlights the benefits of being a member in hard facts and statistics. The video can also be viewed on www.limerickchamber.ie/membership and on YouTube.
