Limerick Chamber Retail Leaders Launch

Limerick Chamber is happy to announce the launch of our Limerick Chamber Retail Strand Events, we have developed events we believe will truly benefit our regions retailers, the list of events is designed to inspire all local retailers by hearing from industry leaders who are excelling in their field and also events that are aimed to help educate and access industry experts across a range of topics from visual display and merchandising to the importance of media and loss prevention.

Our launch event will take place on Tuesday 26th September in Bank of Ireland O’ Connell St Workbench, and we are delighted to have two fantastic speakers at this event, Jane Swarbrigg owner of Inglot makeup- Inglot Cosmetics Ireland is a family-run business operated by Jane, Geraldine and Peter Swarbrigg from Mullingar, Co. Westmeath. Inglot currently have nine stores located nationwide – five in Dublin, two in Cork, one in Limerick and one in Galway – and a thriving online site, www.inglot.ie. Their ethos is to enhance the client’s natural beauty, not cover it up; using innovative, highquality products at reasonable prices. Jane came across a Polish brand in early 2009 and were simply blown away by the extensive colour range and innovative products. The fantastic freedom system was something completely new to the Irish beauty market. In July 2009 the first Irish Inglot store opened in Dublin’s, Liffey Valley shopping centre and was quickly succeeded with another in Dundrum Town Centre. Ingot Ireland opened its first two stores in the height of the recession here in Ireland. Although it was a very exciting time for Jane and her Family- there was a huge risk factor but they had confidence in the brand and the quality of the product and thankfully it paid off and helped it grow to what it has become today.

We will also hear from Cait Early owner of Skin 26 based here in Limerick City Centre,  saw a gap in the market for this fresh and forward attempt at promoting natural skincare treatment. The unique name of the new establishment relates back to Ms Earley’s wealth of knowledge and experience, garnered over her travelling years. “The market gap I saw here was with anti-ageing and when you need to start looking after your skin and address skin concerns, around the age of 26” . Not limited to skincare and treatments, Skin26 offers a range of services, including; dermal therapies, beauty essentials, waxing, makeup, tanning and nails. Though a first-time business owner, Ms Earley has embarked on her entrepreneurial career with positive force when starting on only €4,000 investment, focusing on the aspects of a business that work to make it grow and flourish.
