Speaker Bio’s:

Stephen Keogh

Stephen Keogh, Managing Partner Sellors- “Stephen Keogh is the Managing Partner of one of the leading Midwest based law firms, Keating Connolly Sellors Solicitors. While the seeds of Sellors were sown more than 150 years ago by some of Limerick’s leading lawyers, in 2015 Stephen led the merger of 2 substantial law firms to form this new energetic and dynamic advisory business. Sellors employs 40 people across two buildings in Limerick city.

 

As well as providing leadership for the firm, Stephen maintains key responsibility for commercial advisory. Stephen’s approach to his clients is to make life simple, not complicated. His clients want straightforward, practical advice from somebody that they can trust, so that’s exactly what he provides. 

 

Dr James Ring

James Ring has been CEO of Limerick Chamber of Commerce since 2015. James previously held the position of CEO of Limerick Civic Trust for five years. In both these roles he was responsible for managing several significant restructuring projects and change programmes.  Prior to this, he was project manager at UL where he worked specifically on improving education attainment rates in regeneration communities.  He began his career with IBEC as an Environment and Public Affairs Executive.

James’s style of change management is based around finding the correct balance between inclusivity and autocratic approaches and motivating staff throughout all stages of the process. He is also a strategy consultant where he believes in consistently planning ahead strategically, transitionally and tactically and setting organisations up for future success even when the current management team has long left the stage.

 

Dave Griffin

Dave Griffin, Business Development Director, Dell EMC.  Dave works with Dell Limerick leadership to align and develop sustainable future strategy for the site, developing new value propositions to best exploit the significant skills, experience and knowledge of the 850+ team member community at Dell in Limerick. Additional responsibility areas include: Internal & external Communications authoring & publication; Site Branding via visual and published material and personal presentation; external Stakeholder Management – dealing with local entities from City, Education, Chambers of Commerce, Government/IDA, and community groups, charities, etc.; Senior Leader framework & governance – the facilitation of the senior leadership team at the site to enable sustainable site development. Dave has worked in a number of positions within DELL from Global Operations- Relationship Director to Director of Briefing Centre and Product Data Manager, Dave is also very involved in a number of activities and organisations across Limerick and was involved in Special Olympics in both 2010 and 2014.
