Managing Cyber Security and associated risks in the SME

Limerick Chamber in association with Actionpoint and Holme’s O’Malley Sexton, will host an event which will centre along the topic of Cyber Security and the associated Risks imposed. The event structure will feature two guest speakers the first Speaker will be Norman Newell of Actionpoint, who will discuss the below topics:
- breadth of the risks
- common types of incidents
- exposure of incidents in Ireland
- vulnerabilities
- advice and tips should you ever find yourself in a positon where you could be a victim and how to prevent this
The second speaker will be Mr Michael Murphy of HOMS, who will discuss the topics below:
- the legal perspective of Cyber Security
- the effects of a cyber attack
- prevention measures
- protection of Data
- legal vigilance to ensure you are protected from a cyber attack.
