The NFC (National Franchise Centre), a joint initiative between Limerick Chamber and LIT, has announced details of Enterprise START, a new and exciting addition to its training and development calendar.
Enterprise START takes the latest concepts, models and advancements to ensure that participants have the practical tools with which to stress test their business idea and commercial viability. The content will be delivered over three evening workshops, introducing participants to design thinking principles, finance, the business support landscape and fellow entrepreneurs.
Enterprise START is fully funded by Limerick Institute of Technology and Limerick Chamber (co- founders of the NFC) and will commence Monday 31st Aug.
“This programme is a fantastic opportunity for people with the ambition and drive, to create a new business or evaluate and grow an existing venture. People with a number of ideas or development opportunities often engage with the NFC, and Enterprise START is a really great chance for these individuals to obtain the tools with which to explore and investigate. A contemporary offering, Enterprise START examines business development concepts so that entrepreneurs can practically and realistically, evaluate opportunities. The NFC will also examine the local business support landscape, so that on completion, participants can set out a business development action plan” noted Martina McGrath Enterprise Development Manager Limerick Chamber and NFC Manager.
Established in 2010, the NFC has a history of supporting business in the region, and this September will also see the centre recruit for its LEAP programme, a 12 month business accelerator programme which provides office space, training and development, mentorship, coaching and a suite of other ancillary supports to participants.
