Top Line-up of Speakers to Address Chamber Conference on Winning Business at Home and Abroad

Limerick Chamber’s inaugural annual conference ‘Winning Business at Home and Abroad’ will take place on 19 September 2013 at the Radisson Hotel, Limerick.

 

Sponsored by Bank of Ireland, this half day conference and expo event will feature a comprehensive line-up of expert speakers who will share their experiences and provide valuable advice on how to win more business.  There will also be exclusive opportunities to get one to one expert advice from Embassies and trade support agencies focused on the domestic and international market place. Chaired by Broadcaster and Presenter Ciana Campbellthe conference will cover a range of topics including strategy, sales, marketing, financing and more.  The expert panel of speakers include:

  • Dr Briga Hynes, a lecturer in Entrepreneurship at Kemmy Business School UL, will focus on how companies can grow from a local focus to international market success.

 

  • Ray Clarke from UK firm Shaping Business, will provide practical guidance on selling abroad.

 

  • Ed Field of Digino Marketing will explain why companies need to rethink their marketing plans as digital communications prevail.

 

  • Colm O’Brien, Carambola Kidz and Liam Ryan, BMS Ireland – the managing directors of two local award winning companies, one successfully trading nationally and the other internationally, will share their real life experiences of approaching new markets and identifying opportunities to expand.

 

  • David Byrne, Enterprise Ireland, will share practical tips on doing business in the UK

 

  • Tom Fuller, Bank of Ireland, will outline financial practicalities necessary to support international trade.

 

 

In the expo space, there will be an opportunity to talk face to face with representatives from International Embassies and support agencies including: Enterprise Ireland, Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), UK Trade & Investment, Bank of Ireland, Limerick County & City Enterprise Boards and much more.
